Our Fiber Optic Association (FOA) Certification Training
We offer the FOA CFOT, a 4-day fiber optic certification program, at our Marietta, Georgia, school near Atlanta. Our classes fit most schedules with classes on weekdays, weekends, live online, and in person. As a member of the global FOA network, we have certified techs since 2009. Our certifying organization has educated techs since 1995, and the U.S. Department of Labor acknowledges its certifications.
Our instructors offer live classes virtually and in-person on weekdays and weekends. Trainees learn the FiberNexxt Way™, our method of combining theory, giving session reviews, and providing hands-on skills training in a comfortable setting. With our 99.9 percent pass rate, most students successfully obtain FOA certification. Additional Class Options
We offer additional ways to take our 4-day certification training. Let us help you make arrangements using these options. Select your course date from the class schedule and keep it on hand to complete your registration form.

Take the Class One Session at a Time. Break our 4-day class into manageable single sessions that you can spread over weeks, weekends, or months. The course fee is $495 per session. Pay for each session separately, choosing the session that best fits your schedule. You may take up to 4 months to complete your class. The early registration discount does not apply to this option.

One-on-One Training with an Instructor by Appointment. You may train individually with our FOA-certified instructors. This option has a standard course fee of $1495. The early registration discount does not apply to this option.
Taking Our CFOT Online Certification
Tools are essential for completing hands-on skills training, especially for our online fiber optic certification training. You can purchase our toolkit or purchase tools on your own. Please ask for our checklist so that your tool purchases meet class requirements. With our toolkit, you’ll be equipped for your first job on day one. All online students must attend an orientation before the first day of class. Orientation will help you become familiar with our video conferencing tools and confirm you have all required equipment for the class, if applicable.
Fiber Tech Toolkit
As mentioned, tools are essential, especially for our online classes. We outfit you with equipment that helps perform the hands-on lab assignments, giving you the same experience as our in-class trainees. The kit will also help you be job-ready on your first day of work. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

What to Expect After Completing Our Course
Upon completing our course, you should have FOA CFOT certification and the skills to perform entry-level tasks as an in-house fiber technician or independent fiber contractor. Although we cannot guarantee job placement, we will refer you to our partners and former clients for work opportunities. Also, we will consider you for available openings on our projects. You will also have access to our instructors/contractors upon obtaining your first work assignment. We're happy to answer questions and provide guidance as much as possible to help you succeed.
