We guide you using the FiberNexxt Way® and focus on strengthening your fiber skills in this 3-day class. You'll practice key basic techniques and receive personalized attention. This course is a non-certification class. Limited seating availability in each class. You receive a FiberNexxt Certificate of Completion.

Basic Cable Prep & Splicing
Learn the skills needed to prepare fiber cables, including:

Cable and connector termination, including mechanical connectors.

Testing cable for insertion loss.

Reviewing basic troubleshooting strategies.

Practicing basic documentation skills.
Basic Connector Termination and Testing
Our instructors train you to work with connector hardware, including:

Practicing cable identification.

Learning to prepare mechanical splices and connectors.

Performing basic continuity testing.
Install a Fiber Network In Class
You put your skills to work, showing what you learn. You build a small, live network, such as:

Preparing and terminating a simulated fiber network

Conducting a signal continuity test

Completing documentation.
Registration

Standard Fee. $1895 in our classroom. We provide all necessary materials, tools, equipment, and certification exam preparation.

Online Fee. $1695 online + $2900 class tool set, total online cost: $4595. Online classes are scheduled by request. Online students receive study materials and exam preparation, but are required to buy tools on their own or bring their own tools to class. Students may purchase our toolkit. If purchasing tools on your own, please request a checklist to ensure you have all the necessary equipment. Please contact a staff member for this option.

Early Registration Fee. $1595 in our classroom. $1395 online + $2500 tech toolkit + $400 OTDR tool, total online cost: $4295. Class fee discounts apply automatically at checkout.

1-on-1 Training. $2145 in our classroom. Train solo with a certified instructor. Speak with a team member to schedule this option.

Pay-As-You-Go Training. $475 per class (5 total classroom sessions).
The last registration day is usually midnight on the Monday before the first day of class. All course fees* include a non-refundable $395 deposit that reserves your seat. ETA FOI certification may be eligible for military reimbursement for military service members. (visit the ETAI® website for details).

What to Expect After Completing Our Course
Upon completing our course, you are ready to work day one. You can perform entry-level tasks as an in-house technician or independent contractor. Although we cannot guarantee job placement, we will refer you to our partners and former clients for work opportunities. Also, we will consider you for available openings on our projects. You will also have access to our instructors/contractors upon obtaining your first assignment. We're happy to answer questions and provide guidance as much as possible to help you succeed.
