Our training may help you meet your career goals. Certified trainers teach you in a work-like setting in Marietta, Georgia, near Atlanta. Our certified instructors teach all levels. Our basic certification through the Fiber Optic Association (FOA) and the Electronics Technicians Association® (ETA), along with our SkillBuilder courses, is specifically designed to equip students with little to no fiber experience. Training for All Skill Levels. We offer fiber cable technician training for a wide range of skill levels. You earn FOA or ETA certifications upon passing the exam for your course. For our non-certification courses, you earn a Certificate of Completion.

Basic Fiber Optic Certifications
New trainees, experienced technicians, and managers can benefit from training and receive the Fiber Optic Association (FOA) certification on passing course exams. Certification may open possibilities, such as career advancement, or help you gain new business opportunities.

4-Day CFOT Standard Fee: $1695 Classroom ($1495 Online).

Our 1-Day course offers a theory refresh and no hands-on skills training, but adds certification to your work background. To attend this program, students must submit a resume with two years of fiber experience and pass FOA approval. Upon passing the course exam, you earn FOA CFOT certification. Advanced FOA Fiber Optic Certification
These advanced classes build on skills learn in our FOA basic certification classes. We offer splicing, FTTH, or testing specialist training with FOA certification upon passing the course exam. To qualify for these courses, you need to pass our FOA 4-day or 1-day FOA CFOT certification classes. You may also provide proof of certification from the FOA. Advanced courses are scheduled by request for classromm and online options. Get CFOS classes for half off when you combine them with CFOT certification. Please call for details and scheduling.
Increase your knowledge and become an FOA-certified fiber optic splicing specialist (CFOS/S). Advanced students learn advanced techniques, such as mid-entry and ribbon splicing. Visit our CFOS Splicing Specialist page for more information.

SkillBuilder, Hands-On Job-Readiness Training
Our non-certification training teaches hands-on skills. These classes are a good option if you are interested in getting fiber optic skills or don't need certification immediately. These programs help you quickly enter the fiber optics field. FiberNexxt grads may also refresh their skills.
Standard Fee: $895 In Class; $695 Online
This class offers a path to job readiness and helps you develop fiber technician skills quickly. Learn basic splicing and testing skills in a 2-day session. Since this is a non-certification class, you receive a Certificate of Completion. Fees for this class can be credited toward our 4-day certification class.
