Training for All Skill Levels. We offer training for a wide range of skill levels. You earn FOA or ETA certifications upon passing the course exams. For our non-certification SkillBuilder courses, you earn a Certificate of Completion. ​

Fiber optic certification training. No experience needed. You can earn an FOA CFOT or ETA FOI certifications.

SkillBuilder, fiber optic job-readiness training. No experience needed for our hands-on skills programs. You earn a FiberNexxt Certificate of Completion for these courses.

Fiber Optic Certifications
New trainees, experienced technicians, and managers can benefit from training and receive Fiber Optic Association (FOA) or Electronics Technicians Association International (ETA) certification on passing course exams. Certification may open possibilities, such as career advancement, or help you gain new business opportunities.
This program teaches fiber theory, basic hands-on skills, and offers FOA's CFOT certification upon passing the course exam.
4-Day CFOT Standard Fee: $1695 Classroom.
Early Registration Fee. $1395 Classroom, giving a savings of $300. Discount automatically applied at checkout.
4-Day CFOT 1-on-1 By Appointment Fee: $1895 Classroom. Discounts unavailable for this option.

SkillBuilder, Hands-On Skills Training
These non-certification classes focus on providing strong hands-on skills. Also, our SkillBuilder courses may be a good fit if you want to enter the fiber field as soon as possible. Also, it can be the right fit if you don't need certification immediately. After completing our training, you're ready to hit the ground running, ready to work on a fiber job day one. All SkillBuilder and FiberNexxt Grad Refresh students receive a FiberNexxt Certificate of Completion at the end of training. Bonus: Combine the SkillBuilder Basic Splicing and Testing course with any SkillBuilder Advanced class and get the advanced course for $445 off. This class offers a path to job readiness and helps you develop fiber technician skills quickly. Learn basic cable prep, splicing, connector termination, and basic testing skills in a 3-day session. Add our training to your work background by learning advanced techniques such as mid-entry cable prep and ribbon splicing. The 3-Day SkillBuilder Basic Training class is a requirement for this class. Get more information on our SkillBuilder Advanced Splicing page. This class starts May 2026.
