FiberNexxt Communications' qualified instructors offer training in a work-like setting at our school in Marietta, Georgia, near Atlanta. Our goal is to prepare you to hit the ground running on day one on a fiber job.
We teach all levels from new hire to seasoned technician. For industry recognized credentials, our certifications come from the Fiber Optic Association® (FOA) and the Electronics Technicians Association® (ETA). If you're interested in entering the fiber field quickly, consider our job readiness program, the SkillBuilder family of courses, which are especially designed for students with little to no fiber experience. Below is an overview of the skill levels and types of training we offer along with resources for our schedules and financial resources. They include:

Training for All Skill Levels. We offer training for a wide range of skill levels. You earn FOA or ETA certifications upon passing the course exams. With our 99.5% pass rate, most students successfully earn certification. For our refresher courses for FiberNexxt alumni offers skills-only training and earns a Certificate of Completion. ​

Fiber optic certification training. No experience needed. You can earn an FOA CFOT, or ETA FOI certification.

Ribbon Splicing. No experience required. Students learn single-fiber and ribbon-fiber splicing methods. Visit the class page.

Alum Refreshers. Our team help you update or strengthen the hands-on skills learned in the CFOT or FOI training.

Fiber Optic Certifications
New trainees, experienced technicians, and managers can benefit from training and receive Fiber Optic Association® (FOA) or Electronics Technicians Association® International (ETA) certification upon passing course exams. Certification may open possibilities, such as career advancement, or help you gain new business opportunities.
This program teaches fiber theory, basic hands-on skills, and offers FOA's CFOT certification upon passing the course exam. An online option is unavailable for this course.
4-Day CFOT Standard Fee: $1695 Classroom.

4-Day CFOT 1-on-1 By Appointment Fee: $1895 Classroom. Discounts unavailable for this option.
4-Day CFOT Pay-As-You-Go Fee: $445 Classroom. Pay for one session at a time. Discounts unavailable for this option.
4-Day CFOT Deposit: Pay 847.50 at registration, then pay the balance on the first day of class. The Early Bird Discount does not apply to this option.
Course trainers teach fiber theory and hands-on skills used by in-house technicians or independent contractors. Students also earn the ETA's FOI certification upon passing the course exam. Online classes are scheduled upon request. Visit our 5-Day ETA FOI page to learn more.​
Standard Classroom Fee. $1895 Classroom.
Standard Online Fee ($200 savings off standard fee). $1695 online + $2500 tech toolkit + $400 OTDR tool, total online cost: $$4595.

Non-Certification Training
We're committed to giving you the skills needed in today's fiber jobs. Job-readiness is our goal, including keeping your skills updated. View our ribbon splicing class and alum refresher courses. These courses do not lead to FOA or ETA certifications but you do earn a Certificate of Completion. You are ready to work a fiber job day one upon finishing our training.
Ribbon splicing is an in-demand skill, and our class prepares you. No experience or prior class training is needed for this course. This class will give you hands-on skills training and equip you to perform entry-level tasks. This is a non-certification class, and you earn a Certificate of Completion upon finishing the course.
