We offer advanced certification courses that can help you reach your career goals. You earn the Certified Fiber Optic Specialist, Splicing (CFOS/S) certification from the Fiber Optic Association (FOA). Andvanced Splicing Specialist Certification Class Overview

Using our proven FiberNexxt Way™, trainees receive a combination of theory, practical reviews, and advanced fiber splicing skills training. We help you prepare for the FOA certification exam as well as build on splicing skills such as ribbon-splicing and ribbonizing. The prerequisite for this course is either our 4-day CFOT certification or 1-day CFOT certification class. Our classes are open for enrollment and scheduled upon request. Class Options

We may have a class that fits your schedule. Please select your course from the schedule below and keep it on hand to complete your registration form. Registration deadlines are usually Mondays before the first day of class. Register online or by phone with a team member at (678) 515-0115. Currently, there are no online options for this class. Classes scheduled to start in Fall 2025.

Registration

The last registration day is usually midnight on the Monday before the first class day. All course fees* include a non-refundable $395 deposit, which holds your seat. Visit our registration page to sign up for classes or call (678) 515-0115. This course doesn't have an online option.

What to Expect After Completing Our Course

Upon completing our course, you should have:

  • FOA CFOS/S certification

  • Skills to perform basic to moderate splicing tasks as an in-house fiber technician or independent contractor

Although we cannot guarantee job placement, we will refer you to our partners and former clients for work opportunities. Also, we will consider you for available openings on our projects. You will also have access to our instructors/contractors upon obtaining your first assignment. We're happy to answer questions and provide guidance as much as possible to help you succeed.
