Are you a FiberNexxt graduate? Has it been a while since you used your skills? We understand life's obligations and the need to pause career goals. We can help! Come and refresh your skills at our facilities in Marietta, Georgia, near Atlanta.

We guide you using the FiberNexxt Way's and focus on strengthening your skills for fiber field work in this 3-day class. You'll practice key basic techniques and get personalized attention. This course is a non-certification class. You receive a FiberNexxt Certificate of Completion.

What You Learn

Our trainers review skills learned in the SkillBuider Basic Splicing & Testing course, focusing on hands-on skills, such as:

Basic Cable Prep & Splicing

Learn the skills needed to prepare fiber cables, including:

Cable and connector termination, including mechanical connectors.
Testing cable for insertion loss.
Reviewing basic troubleshooting strategies.
Practicing basic documentation skills.

Basic Connector Termination & Testing

Our instructors train you to work with connector hardware, including:

Practicing cable identification.
Learning to prepare mechanical splices and connectors.
Performing basic continuity testing.

Install a Fiber Network In Class

You put your skills to work, showing what you learn. You build a small, live network, such as:

Preparing and terminating a simulated fiber network
Conducting a signal continuity test
Completing documentation.

Registration

Here are our current class fees:

Standard Registration. $595 in the classroom
Standard Online Registration. $595 online + $2500 Tech Toolkit (total online fee: $ 3095). This option is scheduled upon request, typically the first two weeks of each month. Tools are essential for hands-on training. Online students are responsible for purchasing their tools. You may purchase our toolkit or purchase tools on your own. If buying tools independently, please request a checklist to ensure you have all necessary tools. Please call to check availability and to schedule your class.

What to Expect After Completing Our Course

Upon completing our course, you are ready to work day one. You can perform entry-level tasks as an in-house technician or independent contractor. Although we cannot guarantee job placement, we will refer you to our partners and former clients for work opportunities. Also, we will consider you for available openings on our projects. You will also have access to our instructors/contractors upon obtaining your first assignment. We're happy to answer questions and provide guidance as much as possible to help you succeed.
