CFOT Certification Online and In-Person Help Meet Your Goals
Our instructors offer the Fiber Optic Association 4-Day Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) certification training, in Marietta, Georgia, near Atlanta. At our fiber school, we hold classes virtually and in person, on weekdays and weekends. Trainees learn the FiberNexxt Way™, our method of combining theory, providing hands-on skills training, and preparing you for the course exam, all in a comfortable setting. We provide study materials, equipment, and exam preparation. Online students will need to purchase a toolkit or purchase tools separately. Registration Fees:
Standard Course Fee. $1495 in the classroom ($995 online + $2500 Tech Toolkit, total: $3495)
Early Registration Discount. $1295 classroom, $200 savings off the standard course fee, which is applied automatically at registration.
Sign up 4 weeks in advance. No advanced discount is available for the online course.
One-Class-At-A-Time Sessions. $495 per day in the classroom or $425 per day online. Manage your training budget by taking one training class at a time, and take up to four months to complete your certification. Upon receipt of your first payment, we will schedule you for the next available class.
One-on-One Training. $1695 classroom ($1395 online + $2500 Fiber Tech Toolkit, total $3895).

Taking Our FOA CFOT Online Certification
Tools are essential for completing hands-on skills training, especially for our online fiber optic certification courses. You can purchase our toolkit or acquire the tools separately. Please request our tool checklist to ensure your purchases meet class requirements. With our professional-level toolkit, you’ll be equipped for your first job on day one. If you order our toolkit, please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. See our toolkit's components below.
All online students must attend an orientation before the first day of class. Orientation will help you become familiar with our video conferencing tools and confirm you have all required equipment for the class, if applicable.

The last registration day is usually midnight on the Monday before the first day of class. All course fees* include a non-refundable $395 deposit, which holds your seat. We provide study materials, equipment, and exam preparation for in-classroom participants. What to Expect After Completing Our Course
Upon completing our course, you should have FOA CFOT certification and the skills to perform entry-level tasks as an in-house fiber technician or independent fiber contractor. Although we cannot guarantee job placement, we will refer you to our partners and former clients for work opportunities. Also, we will consider you for available openings on our projects. You will also have access to our instructors/contractors upon obtaining your first work assignment. We're happy to answer questions and provide guidance as much as possible to help you succeed.
Class Schedule and Registration Deadlines
We have a class that may fit your schedule. Select your course date below and keep it on hand for on your registration form. One-to-one and one-class-at-a-time options need to be scheduled with a staff member. Online students should register as early as possible. Except for November and December, online classes can be scheduled on the first two weeks or first two weekends of each month.
