Fiber Testing Training Job-Readiness Program Overview
Certified instructors teach this 1-day course in Marietta, Georgia near Atlanta. Our course is a good choice for entering the fiber industry faster, especially if you don't need certification. We offer classes that fit most busy schedules: online or classroom and on weekdays and weekends. With the FiberNexxt Way™, you'll receive step-by-step training in a work-like setting, including working with connectors and learning basic testing. Our qualified trainers also teach two additional classes: SkillBuilder Splicing. and SkillBuilder Splicing & Testing. Since these are non-certification classes, students earn a Certificate of Completion.

What to Expect After Completing Our Course
Upon completing our course, you should have the skills to perform entry-level testing and connector termination tasks as an in-house fiber technician or independent contractor. Although we cannot guarantee job placement, we will refer you to our partners and former clients for work opportunities. Also, we will consider you for available openings on our projects. Also, you will also have access to our instructor/contractors upon obtaining your first assignment. We're happy to answer questions and provide guidance on your first assignment and help you succeed.

Pathway to Fiber Optic Association (FOA) Certification
We are happy to help you pursue the FOA Certified Fiber Optic Tech (CFOT) certification. You can qualify for course and financial credits if you register for an FOA CFOT class within a year of completing SkillBuilder. Credits apply as follows:

2-Day SkillBuilder Splicing & Testing. Receive course credit for Days 2 AND 3 of CFOT training and a $795 savings off the standard course fee.

1-Day Skillbuilder Splicing. Receive course credit for Day 1 OR Day 2 of CFOT training and a $595 savings off the standard course fee.
You will be responsible for the fee balance at CFOT registration. You only need to complete the theory day, splicing, testing, class project demonstration, and certification exam, depending on your SkillBuilder program. We will help you prepare for the exam. This option cannot be combined with discounts. Call us for details and scheduling.
