We offer three advanced certification courses designed to help you achieve your career goals. You earn the Certified Fiber Optic Specialist, FTTH (CFOS/H) certification from the Fiber Optic Association (FOA). In addition to our Advanced FTTH specialist class, learn about the two additional CFOS specialist certifications we offer: Advanced Splicing and Advanced Testing. Please note, the 4-Day or 1-Day Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) course is required for our advanced FOA courses. Our advanced course is open for enrollment. Classes are scheduled by appointment or register for Advanced FTTH here.

What You Need for Our Course
The prerequisite for this class is either our 4-day or 1-day FOA CFOT certification.
What You Learn
We specialize in helping you learn the skills used to complete FTTH projects, including inside/outside plant termination. Training covers:

Install and terminate splitters.

Manage a range of enclosures (pedestals, dome, cabinets, and wall/rack mounts).

Install a fiber optic network in class.

Receive FOA Certified Fiber Optic Specialist, FTTH (CFOS/H) Certification Preparation.
Taking Our Online Courses
Tools are essential for completing skills training especially for our online classes. You can purchase our technician's toolkit, purchase your own, or bring your tools to the online class. If you plan to provide your tools, ask for our checklist so that your tools meet our class requirements. With our toolkit, you’ll be equipped for your first job on day one. If you order our toolkit, please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
All online students must attend an orientation before the first day of class. This will help you become familiar with our video conferencing tools and confirm you have all required equipment for the class.
