FTTH Training May Advance Your Fiber Career
We offer this advanced course in Marietta, Georgia near Atlanta. You will learn how to install fiber for homes and premises, including inside plant or outside plant settings. You earn the Certified Fiber Optic Specialist, FTTH (CFOS/H) certification from the Fiber Optic Association (FOA). Also, our school offers two additional advanced CFOS courses: Advanced Splicing and Advanced Testing. You may register online or by phone with a team member.

Standard Registration Classroom Fee: $995
Standard Registration Online Fee: $795 + $2500 Tech Toolkit, total online cost: $3195. We schedule this online option by request. Online students are responsible for purchasing the tools needed for course lab exercises. You can buy our toolkit or purchase equipment on purchase on your own. If purchasing tools independently, please call for a checklist to ensure you have all needed equipment. Call us for details.
Prerequisites: The FOA requires CFOT certification (4-Day CFOT or 1-Day CFOT) before attending this class.
Schedule: Classes are scheduled by request, typically the first two weeks of each month. Please provide three (3) dates, in order of
preference, for your class. We will review your request and contact you to confirm your class date.

What You Learn
We specialize in helping you learn the skills used to complete FTTH projects, including inside/outside plant termination. Training covers:

Install and terminate splitters.

Manage a range of enclosures (pedestals, dome, cabinets, and wall/rack mounts).

Install a fiber optic network in class.

Receive FOA Certified Fiber Optic Specialist, FTTH (CFOS/H) Certification Preparation.
What to Expect After Completing Our Course
The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicted that telecommunications fiber installer jobs would grow by 8% through 2031. Fiber techs will be in demand for another five years! Upon completing our course, you should receive:

In-demand skills to perform basic to moderate FTTH tasks as an in-house fiber technician or independent contractor

Although we cannot guarantee job placement, we will refer you to our partners and former clients for work opportunities. Also, we will consider you for available openings on our projects. You will also have access to our instructors/contractors upon obtaining your first assignment. We're happy to answer questions and provide guidance as much as possible to help you succeed.
Fiber Tools and Equipment
Tools and equipment are essential in learning hands-on skills for our classes. We provide all necessary tools and equipment for in-classroom students. Online students are responsible for securing tools and equipment for their classes. You may purchase our toolkit or purchase tools on their own. If choosing the online option, please ask for our checklist to ensure you have all the necessary equipment.
